Khana Collective transforms communities upstream through the power of partnership to create socioeconomic empowerment and ecological sustainability in Bolivia, with a focus on Indigenous communities, women, and children. Partnering with the communities that know how to do it best on the ground, Khana provides pathways for responsible community development through specialty coffee production and holistic supports for individuals, families, and communities to thrive for generations to come.

Our Values

  • Partnership means that our business relationships go beyond a transaction. Whether with co-op members or international buyers, we believe that real impact happens when there is a level of commitment that doesn’t just follow the market. Khana welcomes partners to spend time on the land, to get to know the producers and their families, or to share a cup of sultana while we talk about how we can all do better. We want to work with you so that we can elevate each other.

  • Khana is more than just a social initiative with coffee as a means to an end. A love for, and commitment to, exceptional specialty coffee drives all that we do. The Khana team is made up of well-respected experts in the field in Bolivia and beyond, and the start of this initiative has widely expanded the potential for specialty coffee in the regions we work. Khana is eager to grow and committed to quality at every step.
